The Manta 42 is a product of the evolution of over 90 Mantas sailing the oceans of the world today. This modelincorporates features developed from owner feedback with thousands of ocean miles sailed over the past eight years. Each Manta is built to order, and offers the best quality/value ratio of any production catamaran in the world today.
Layout
The Manta 42 features a port side owners’ cabin with tons of stowage and a settee with storage under the seat. These boats have a great layout and are a well regarded sailing catamaran which were purpose built for the private owner, not the charter market.
They were built with first-rate construction using the vacuum bagged system. The horseshoe shaped galley, navigation station and dinette are in the main cabin. The hulls were designed with 3 staterooms which sleep 6, she also has 2 fresh water heads both with separate shower stalls, and there is a washer/dryer.
Knowledgeable owners have kept this vessel in immaculate condition. Some of the recent upgrades include new Volvo Penta D1-30’s, Saildrives and new FlexFold Props., MainSail and standing and running rigging, new dinghy with a outboard..
