A MUST-SEE “CLASSIC” IN EXCELLENT CONDITION
KEPT IN A COVERED SLIP, FRESH WATER
NEAR NEW ORLEANS
The beautiful "Water Nymph" CLASSIC C-Flex has been customized by the current owner over his fifty-five years of ownership.
He purchased this vessel in 1968. The hull was completely C-Flexed over African mahogany Carvel in 1986 from gunnel to keel. C-flex is an excellent solution for preserving the life and character of vintage wooden boats, because it can be attached on a wooden hull to create a stronger and more durable hull structure.
Water Nymph has a plum bow stem, square transom stern, flush decks with raised forecastle deck forward, trunk cabin, mid sedan and aft trunk cabin with a flush aft deck and raised semi enclosed sedan bridge.
The vessel is a single screw diesel, flush deck motor yacht with hull # 346A. She was built in 1931 by Burger Boat Company in Manitowoc, Wisconsin and her home port has been New Orleans for over 53 years.
The Keel, Oak approximately 14” deep scarfed bolted at Keel, planking is copper riveted over 9" on center oak frame and overlaid with glass reinforced plastic C-Flex System.
